[ CHAPTER 5 - SUPPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS ]
Article
27. Reciprocal Recognition
(1) The Government may enter into an agreement
wi th a foreign government for reciprocal
recognition of digital signatures.
(2) The agreement entered into pursuant to Paragraph (1) hereof
may grant the same legal
status or effect to a foreign certification authority or a certificate issued
by a foreign
certification authority as a licensed certification authority or a certificate
issued by a licensed
certification authority under this Act.
(3) When an agreement with a foreign government for reciprocal
recognition of digital
signatures is executed, the Minister of Information and Communication shall make
known the
contents thereof by public notice.
Article 28. Collection of Fees
A licensed certification authority may collect necessary fees such as service
charges from
those who apply for the issuance of a certificate or receive certification service.
Article 29. Hearing
In case the Minister of Information and Communication desires to revoke a pursuant
to
Paragraph (1) of Article 12, a hearing shall be held.
Article 30. Delegation of Authority
A part of the authority held by the Minister of Information and Communication
under this Act
may be delegated to the head of any subordinate agency in accordance with Presidential
Decree.
