Digital Signature

The Digital Signature is unique for the electronic document as the information that is created by the Digital Signature creation key through the asymmetric encryption method in order to check the alteration of the identification and the electronic document of the person who prepares the electronic document.

The Digital Signature technology is the technology that the person who receives the electronic document checks the identification of senders, prevents forgery or alteration and non-repudiation of electronic documents using the characteristics of correspondence of public key and private key.

The Digital Signature technology based on encryption technology of public key is to make the Digital Signature on the documents and verify the Digital Signature using private key and public key. The private key is the one that only the user knows and the user makes the Digital Signature on the document using this key.

Public key is the one that corresponds to private key and the trading partners who will receive the document verify the document with the Digital Signature using the public key. Only the person who has the corresponding public key can verify the electronic document that holds the Digital Signature with private key. If the public key of A verifies the electronic document with the Digital Signature, the Digital Signature using the private key of A prepares this document.
